Twice the volume gets the right amount of oil to the hydraulic pumps. Allied Precision has designed and manufactured an extension for the filter housing on the IH tractor. Adding a second filter has made a big difference in a lot of tractors. We also have extensions for the older tractors and the Hydro.
This kit also insures more oil to both hydraulic pumps, helping the slow raise time and more oil will be filtered instead of going through the filter by-pass. We feel it will also extend pump life and eliminate added heat build up. In some cases we have found the steering, brakes, and TA work better along with better and faster lift time on 3 point and auxiliary hydraulics.
REMEMBER, you only have one 6" filter to service two pumps. With the addition of the filter extension, you then will have doubled the filter capacity. If the pumps can't get the oil, they can't do their job!
